Senior Manager/Manager, Product Development

Responsibilities

Participant in the formulation of product strategy and prioritization of the product initiatives
Drive product development team to conduct the end-to-end product development process from initial product design to launch of products and product maintenance
Cooperate with distributors and internal stakeholders in product development process to ensure product initiatives are delivered effectively
Collaborate with internal stakeholders in system related projects and assist to oversee UAT for system enhancements.
Maintain the competency required by regulatory bodies and ordinances
Review and ensure product-related literature is of good quality
Proactively conduct insurance market intelligence in the market
Compile regular product analysis to management
Assist on any ad-hoc business projects as required
Assist the Head of Product Development in overseeing the team's operations

Requirements

University graduate in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline(s)
Minimum 10-year experience in product development and product marketing in life insurance products, in which at least 6 years in managerial level
Sound knowledge of various types of life insurance products
With solid experience to liaise with the SFC on product related issues
Able to work independently, a mature self-starter with strong drive, motivation, good business sense, remarkable problem-solving skills, good interpersonal, negotiation and project management skills
Strong communication, presentation and management skills
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Passes IIQAS and FLMI preferable
Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Candidates with less experience will be considered for Manager
